01
Acceptance of these terms
By using the public website, the staff console, or the monitoring messages, you agree to these terms. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
02
The service
HealthRadar is a public-health surveillance platform. It ingests visitor records, enrols eligible visitors into a monitoring window, sends daily health check-ins, evaluates replies, opens cases that need attention, and records outcomes. It is an operational tool for public-health staff.
03
Not medical advice
HealthRadar does not diagnose or treat disease. Risk classifications and AI outputs assist triage only. Clinical decisions remain with qualified healthcare professionals. If you need medical help, contact a healthcare provider or emergency service.
04
Accounts and access
Staff accounts are created by an administrator and scoped to a role.
- Keep your credentials confidential and do not share them.
- Use only the access granted to your role.
- Tell your administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may suspend or withdraw access that is misused or no longer required.
05
Acceptable use
You must not:
- access data you are not authorised to see;
- use the service for any purpose other than public-health surveillance;
- attempt to disrupt, probe, or bypass the security of the service;
- copy, scrape, or redistribute personal data outside the programme.
06
Monitoring and messages
If you are under monitoring, we send check-ins through the channel you opted into, for the duration of the monitoring window. Standard carrier or messaging charges may apply. You can ask us to stop non-essential messages, but some messages are required by public-health law and may continue.
07
Intellectual property
The platform, its design, and its content are owned by Lagos State Ministry of Health or its licensors, and are protected by applicable law. These terms do not grant you any right to use our names, marks, or content except as needed to use the service.
08
Third-party services
The service relies on third-party providers for messaging, email delivery, AI risk scoring, and hosting. Their terms and privacy practices apply to the parts of the service they provide. We choose providers that support the safeguards described in our Privacy policy.
09
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features, and we may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
10
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
